HUMATE, PREMIUM HUMATE, HUMATE PLUS

Humate is a highly compressed, natural organic humus, high in humic acid and containing most of the known trace minerals necessary to the development of plant life. Such organic matter imports dark color to soils, favors granulation, enhances root development, increases water retention power and creates chelation processes whereby insoluble matter or elements are gradually released for plant utilization.

The Humate contains valuable plant nutritional substances not found in chemical fertilizers such as organic matter, carbon (the source of all plant life), chlorophyll, protein, and humic acid (which through the biochemical process of chelation makes available to plants controlled quantities of nutrients which are normally inert and unavailable to plants).

Humates can be utilized as a soil conditioner, fertilizer, and soil supplement. The continued use of humates in nitrogen depleted soils will create its own nitrogen and minimize losses to evaporation.

The use of humates progressively builds up humus content in soil. Subsequent fertilization can be reduced when soils become increasingly fertile. Humates create healthy soil conditions, thereby reducing reliance upon pesticides and insecticides. Use of humates can and will correct plant disease because of the availability of inert insoluble mineral nutrients and essential trace elements through chelation. Humates are a natural product and have no chemical additives.

 

The Role of Humates 

•  They improve soil structure formation and assist in aeration.

•  They change physical properties of soil and affect its water holding capacity .

•  They affect exchange capacity and buffering properties of the soil and help govern nutrient availability.

•  Humates are a source of plant nutrients---both macro and micronutrients .

•  They promote the conversion (chelation ) of a number of elements into forms available to plants and assist with nutrient uptake.

•  They aid in correcting plant chlorosis because of their association with micronutrients.

•  Humates supply compounds linked with humic substances in the form of chelates, and therefore help make soils biochemically active .

•  They increase the permeability of plant membranes and promote the uptake of nutrients .

•  Humates improve the growth of various groups of beneficial micro-organisms .

•  Humates are regarded as organic catalysts.

•  In the presence of humates, enzyme and hormone systems are intensified.

•  Cell division is accelerated in the presence of humates, and auxin and hormone roles are intensified.

•  Humates increase the germination capacity of seed.

•  Root systems exhibit greater development under humate use. Plant efficiency is enhanced.

•  Healthier, stronger plants produced with humates withstand pests more effectively.

•  Humates decrease stress deterioration.

•  Humates improve soil moisture conditions .
