TREES:
Apply 1/4 lb. (0.1134 Kg) Tri-C
6-2-4
for every inch of caliper measured 14" above the soil level.
For trees within ground cover areas, work into soil lightly around drip line and water thoroughly.
| TURF AREAS |
turf applications should be sufficient to feed younger trees. |
| DEEP ROOT FEEDING |
auguring holes around the dripline for deep root feeding will enhance plant growth for older trees or problem soil areas. Make hole 18 to 24 inches apart. Use Tri-C 6-2-4 per above directions as to the amount and divide by the number of holes you are going to fill. After inserting 6-2-4 in holes, irrigate thoroughly. Fill holes with a mixture of soil and sand when possible. Feed once a year in Spring. |
| Feed all trees 2-3 times per year |
1. Feed when you see growth starting, or 3-4 weeks beforeblossoming.
2. In Summer--June/July.
3. In Fall--September/October. |
SHRUBS AND GROUND COVER:

| Ground cover |
feed 2-3 times per year: early Spring, Summer and early Fall at a rate of 8 lbs.(3.63 Kg) per 1,000 sq.ft. of Tri-C 6-2-4 .
**Slope areas use caution so water does not run off slope; i.e. irrigate more frequently for shorter periods of time |
TURF
| FEED |
turf areas with Tri-C 6-2-4 at 10-12 lbs. (4.54 Kg) per 1,000 sq.ft. for 2-3 times per year (Spring, Summer, Fall). |
| AERIFY |
turf areas a minimum of two (2) times per year. Verticut end of March or April, and/or end of October. **Applying amendments after aerification or verticutting enhances response to soil conditioning and/or fertilizing |
| PRE-EMERGENCE |
Use pre-emergence starting mid-January to mid-March and post emergence starting mid-May to the end of September. **Use herbicides (weed control) per manufacturers directions. |
ANNUAL COLOR
Apply 2 to 3 cubic yards of bulk organic material, 50 lbs.(22.68 Kg) Humate or 75 lbs. (34.02 Kg) Humate Plus, and 20 lbs. (9.07 Kg) 6-20-20 per 1,000 sq.ft. Thoroughly rototill into the top 4-6 inches of soil. Irrigate thoroughly prior to planting. Use the above application when renovating color beds throughout the year |
